Business Networking Meetings
The SABI in conjunction with its subscribers and business alliances facilitates business meetings, hosted at prime venues purposely selected to be conducive to promote business excellence. Guest and Business speakers are invited to address participants on relevant topics such as new business trends, legislation, safety, labour, etc. Participants are informed of the latest SABI initiatives and subscribers are encouraged to share the platform to market their businesses, share benefits, interact, and establish business contacts.
After the conclusion of the official program, subscribers meet and socially introduce themselves and their businesses to fellow subscribers
.
Separate ad hoc meetings, events, and forums are periodically facilitated. These will vary in purpose and structure. For example, they may be for subscribers to launch new products or services, or may be a forum where subscribers belonging to the same industry sector are able to meet with each other and brainstorm and strategize concerning common interests.
Newsletters
Newsletters are distributed via the SABI. The SABI newsletters contain information regarding the SABI and its subscribers. They highlight important issues such as advising of the introduction of new legislation, technology information, sales tips and much more.
Websites
Websites are a norm in business today, yet many, even medium-sized businesses are not taking advantage of this marketing channel. The SABI assists members with creating and hosting of Websites. Websites are more readily accessible through the SABI application (hyperlinks for 2, 3, 4 & 5 Stars subscriptions) and therefore members receive an additional marketing avenue through their Websites.
International Linkages
The SABI actively endeavours to expand linkages, through entities such as foreign chamber of commerce affiliations, beyond the boundaries of South Africa.
SABI Forums
The SABI in conjunction with its subscribers and business alliances periodically facilitate business forums such as:
- Sales staff forums for exposure to the latest skills and techniques
- CEO forums where the heads of businesses can share ideas, get to know one another, and possibly form alliances
- Creative leadership forums where subscribers are equipped to becoming leaders in their industry
- Same trade forums where subscribers in the same trade converge and exchange ideas
Subscriber to Subscriber Services
Subscribers are encouraged to offer their services and products via the SABI to other subscribers. Such services are based on Service Level Agreements.
