Cash Community Card is a Loyalty Buying Club that has built up credit worthiness for its members since 1994 and provides the following benefits to members which are paid on the members behalf on a monthly basis;
Burial Cover, Legal insurance, airtime, up to R1000 Food voucher, basic income up to R2000, Medical aid options, Investment credits for Satrix Top 40, Bond payments and various referral commissions on selling products.
As a Buying Club, members help other members with various financial support programs within the club. There are strict qualifying applications and rules to safeguard those members that assist members financially.
The member can use their own Electronic bank account "electronic purse" for deposits in the bank of their choice and also to buy and sell prepaid airtime from their cellphone which acts as a mobile terminal.
CCC Loyalty Program allows member's to earn money from a collective buying program to enable them to get monthly benefits and bonus payments. The member gets paid monthly on every transaction that is done to through the Buying Club Program.
Participation in the Community Development Program ensures that even unemployed members will earn a "living support" by using the Program.
A Skills Development Program is available for employees of Smart Employers that join the Club, and is applicable to the rural-, homeland-, and farming communities, small towns, cities and disadvantaged areas where there is little infrastructure or no banking facilities at all.
Cash Community Card is registered with the FSB as a Representative Agent on behalf of the Broker with License number FSP 12 756 ( Financial Advisory- & Intermediary Services).
Cash Community Card is registered with the Direct Selling Association (DSA) and adheres to a strict Code of Conduct for Consumer Protection and Fair Business Practices.
It is important to note that an approved report from the Law Review Project was also forwarded during 2008 to the SA Reserve Bank, DTI, FSB and the Social Development Department.
Personnel required:
Administrators; Retail Agents; Marketing Agents; and Cash Community Training Providers.
All the positions above have been agreed by the Minister of the Labour Department as alternative employment initiatives for employment to gain experience in the Community Banking Sector for the Informal as well as Formal Sector.
This initiative allows the unemployed to "earn as they learn" while they qualify for the positions as indicated above.
